Originally recorded by Lonzo and Oscar in 1947, I’m My Own Grandpa was written by Moe Jaffe and Dwight Latham. The song has been recorded by many people over the years, including Guy Lombardo, Ray Stevens, and Willie Nelson. Stanley Stupid (Tom Arnold) sings it in the movie The Stupids.
